I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where I still live with my wife, Karen and our three children. I was always drawing as a youngster. Later, when I was much taller, I graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design. Since then I have been creating humorous cartoons and illustrations for publishers all over North America from my home studio (which I often share with my kids, my pets and my guitars). The first cartoon I ever published was for CATS magazine. It was a drawing of a cat sitting in his litter box reading a newspaper. I am a long time contributor to OWL and CHICKADEE magazines. Books I have illustrated include: “What's the Big Idea?” and “You Can't do That in Canada”. Some of my cartoons are included in the book collection “ The 100 Best Comics of the Century”.
